• NICOLAI POV.
• Brea stepped into the torture chamber cautiously, her eyes widening when she saw the prisoners chained to the wall. She whirled to face me, her gaze colliding with mine, and I grinned because I saw no judgment in them. Instead, something akin to interest flared in their depth and the fire she ignited in my blood burned to a fever pitch. Fucking perfect.
• I was going to keep her, even though she kept trying to run away from me, but I didn't mind. I loved to chase, so she could run all she want, but at the end of the day, I'll catch her and put her in her place_ by my side where she belonged.
