Chapter 6 Sneak Up

• A/N : Kiera scurried away to he office.
• She got in and slammed the door hardly gripping her chest tightly. Oh yeah her heart was beating so fast.
• *why didn't he react as expected* she gasped and let her head fall backwards.
• Wilf was walking around the company and then heard his phone ring.
• Unknowingly to him...Kiera was behind him.
• She was wondering what her boss would be doing all alone
• Wilf was standing before the glass wall...Not so long a call came in
• He brought out his phone and saw the caller...Just then..his expression changed. He let down his phone not wanting to answer the call.
• Kiera was wondering who's be calling.
• She insisted on staying........
• The phone kept ringing and ringing then out of frustration he answered the call.
• "Mom!" he lowly replied
• "Son...are you okay I've been calling you for the past hours, is everything alright?" she asked
• He never knew when he called her mom
• "you still want to act like you care" he replied
• "when will you stop saying all that, I know I did wrong I'm ready to make it up to you" she pleaded over the phone
• "that's never gonna be possible, I don't want to talk about this on phone" he replied
• "then I'm coming over" she replied
• "don't want to see you either" he replied
• "Wilf...please" his mom cried over the phone
• He signed and clenched his jaw...
• "I know I was a bad mother..I'm really sorry Wilf" his mom cried
• "just tell me, I'm ready to mle it up to you" she added
• "it'd be waste of time..there's no way I'd accept you back" he replied
• "you should know you don't deserve that title mom"
• Kiera was confused....
• "son don't do this" she added
• "or what..?!" he half yelled
• "I'm coming over" she said
• "the securities are outside, you can't be allowed in" Wilf replied
• "you're never gonna forgive me huh?" his mom cried
• "yes and I'm glad you understand... now if you excuse me..I'm gonna hang up" he said
• "I'm still talking to you!" she exclaimed
• "just get it into your head, I'm not gonna accept you...you already failed your task as a mother, why thinking you can build it back!!" he yelled and ended the call tucking His phone into his pockets
• Kiera face fell...she was sad
• Who knows what happened between him and his mom???
• He let his head down
• totally confused... what should he do now.
• Immediately kiera phone rang.
• He turned back immediately at the sound of her phone
• *was someone eavesdropping???* he thought and took slow steps
• Kiera heart began pounding so fast. She tip toed slowly and quietly.. As soon as she was far from him
• She took her heels...
• Wilf got to her empty spot and couldn't see anyone there.
• He clenched his jaw...if he'll eventually see that person he was sure he'd fire he or she immediately and not pay his or her salary for the month.
• Kiera got into her office and slammed the door breathing so fast.
• "goodness!" she sighed
• "glad I wasn't caught" she added and paused for a while
• "did something happen?" she thought
• His voice tone were filled with anger..bitterness...
• He wasn't ready to forgive her...
• Her thought were interrupted as a call came in
• it was Drew
• She wondered why he was calking her and answered
• "hey baby what's up?" he asked over the phone
• "drewww...I'm good and you?" she asked
• "as I'll ever be" he replied
• "anyway...I'm downstairs" he said
• "what the!" she exclaimed in surprise
• "yeah!" he laughed
• "doing what...why, I'm not on break" she replied
• "check the time, you are" he replied as she did and yes she was
• "oh...I see" she smiled
• "hurry down...let's get something" he replied
• "on my way!" she laughed as she ended the call and walked away.

• I was idle... nothing to do so I thought of kiera.
• That's true...she hasn't argued with me...
• I thought of it..yeah picking an argument wouldn't be that bad.
• A smile curved on my face.. I should get my mind off a little bit...After that woman called my mother ruined my mood.
• I walked out of my office and bumped into Ted
• "where's that crazy secretary?" I asked
• "saw her downstairs" he smiled
• "oh..her break" I nodded and left
• As soon as I was downstair.. I began searching for her. Looked round and round but didn't spot her.
• "where the heck are you!!" I wondered and saw her walking with a cup of smoothie in her hands...A smiling face
• and then she stopped and turned around
• Was she waiting for someone???
• And yeah...a guy walked to her with a smiling face. He said something and I saw her laugh... really cute
• Wait what!!!
• Isn't it that same guy I saw the other night.
• They then turned to walk as the guy crossed his hands around her shoulders
• What the fuck is that suppose to mean
• was it the guy she had a date with
• is that her boyfriend
• So many questions flowing into my head
• Just as she turned..we had eye contact
• Her expression showed she was surprised...
• "boss?" she smiled and walked to me with that guy
• and that's more annoying
• "you enjoying your break?" I nodded
• "yeah...you?" she asked
• "mm...you know you've got tons of work" I said
• "what? I already cleared them" she replied
• Ah that's true
• "I'm supposed to have a meeting with you.. yunno?" I asked as I cleared my throat
• "really...you never informed me" she replied
• "okay..after my break" she smiled
• "no now!" I snapped at her
• "anyway...who's.... this guy?" I asked
• "oh I'm really sorry..... I'm Drew, should have introduced myself earlier" he said as he stretched his hand for a shake
• "Kiera knows I don't shake people" I said
• Before she could say a word I gave her an eye
• "oh yeah he doesn't, he has a disease" she smiled

• "oh...yeah you know about the disease, forgot I told you, yunno you caused it" I laughed
• "yeah...cos of your nonchalant and stupid attitude right?" she laughed
• Okay...you're gonna be so done Kiera
• "mmm" I smiled
• "oh...I guess I understand" Drew replied
• "so who are you to her?" I asked
• "me?" drew asked
• "obviously!" I shrugged
• "you know what..we'll see another time drew, I have a meeting now" Kiera butt in
• "yeah yeah...so another time sweetheart" he smiled and pulled her in for a hug
• I felt like a switch was tuned on In my brain
• "yeah and I'm so sorry" she apologized
• "its okay baby" he smiled and pulled away
• "thanks for this" she said as he lifted the bag in her hand
• Looks like he already shopped for her
• I nod my head..in annoyance
• "anytime" he winked and left
• I looked at kiera who had smiles on
• She turned to me
• "so meeting right? off we go" she exclaimed and turned to leave
• "you and who !!" I asked as I pulled her back by her collar but her back eventually went against me
• "ah!" she yelped before she fell but I caught her by her waist.. wrapping my hands around her again
• "if you let me fall again I'd skin you!" she squealed
