Chapter 1 Escaping From A Deal

• The night was pitch dark.
• A sleek, inconspicuous business car was parked at the back entrance of the KS Hotel.
• In a rush, several servants carried a drugged woman out of the car and took her to the presidential suite on the top floor. In their haste, they didn't pay close attention to the room number, merely glancing at it before depositing the woman into the dimly lit room and putting her on the bed. They closed the door, shutting out all the noise and chaos.
• The woman, whose name was Mia Sherwood, felt an intense discomfort from the heat coursing through her body. She whimpered softly, unaware of how captivating her voice and movements were in that moment.
• The sound of running water from the bathroom ceased. A man, wrapped in a bath towel, emerged. His name was Fred Simpson. Through the dim light in the room, he caught a glimpse of the figure on the bed—long hair cascading down to the waist, a graceful and enticing silhouette, and fair skin radiating a subtle glow.
• Almost involuntarily, the man approached the woman. His voice sounded hoarse and deep, "So, you’re the woman Grandma sent to me?"
• No! I'm not!
• Mia wanted to retort, but her consciousness, blurred by their proximity, left her with little strength. All she could manage was a voice that sounded somewhat tempting.
• Sensing something amiss with the woman, the man narrowed his long, deep eyes slightly. "Were you drugged? Or perhaps given the strongest aphrodisiac?"
• If left unaddressed, she could likely suffer organ failure!
• "Remember, I saved you today."
• The man casually dropped these words and then kissed Mia's lips directly.
• The taste was sweet and soft, with a deadly allure that, once experienced, would be difficult to resist. Their bodies entwined, their passion intensifying. Their rising and falling breaths filled the entire room.
• ...
• Two hours later. The effects of the drug gradually faded.
• Mia's entire body felt as though it had been tossed around to the point of falling apart! Even her legs trembled. She didn't know where this man got his strength, as if he wouldn't stop until he had completely consumed her.
• The room remained dimly lit. Mia hastily put on her clothes, not caring about anything else, and fled! She wanted to question her family why they did this to her!
• As she left, the sated man on the bed opened his eyes, subconsciously reaching out to embrace the woman beside him, only to find her gone.
• In an instant, all his sleepiness vanished. He turned on all the lights, but the room was empty. That woman had left a long time ago!
• Fred narrowed his cold eyes unhappily. He would not let the woman he desired slip away!
• He took out his phone and dialed a number, giving a cold command, "Check out a woman."

• As Mia approached the door of her home, the Sherwood residence, she heard Mr. Sherwood's voice coming from the living room.
• "Mr. Johnson, please don't withdraw the funds. If you do, Sherwood Corporation will be ruined!"
• "You should’ve been prepared for the consequence when you dared to deceive me!"
• Mr. Sherwood cried out, "Mr. Johnson, we did put something in Mia's drink. We instructed the servants to deliver it to your room. There must be a misunderstanding, and we're sending people to find her now. Once we locate her, we'll bring her to you immediately!"
• Beep, beep, beep!
• The call abruptly ended.
• "Dad, what did Mr. Johnson say? Are we going to end up on the streets?" Mia’s sister, Marie Sherwood, asked anxiously.
• Sherwood Corporation was on the brink of bankruptcy, facing a critical moment of survival. The investor, Mr. Johnson, had proposed that as long as they offered Mia to him as his partner, he would provide the funds needed to help Sherwood Corporation overcome the crisis.
• So, Mr. Sherwood drugged Mia and sent her to Mr. Johnson's bed to fulfill the deal.
• They thought everything would go smoothly, but unexpectedly, Mr. Johnson called and said he had been waiting at the hotel for several hours without seeing anyone, so he decided to withdraw the investment.
• Now, the Sherwoods were in a panic!
• "Go investigate! I want to know what happened with Mia at the hotel!" Mr. Sherwood shouted. "And find that d*mn girl. I’ll personally deliver her to him!"
• Outside the door, Mia's face turned pale. Biting her lip tightly, she dared not cry out loud.
• She had thought that being found by her biological parents would lead to a happy life, but she didn't expect to be treated as a commodity in their pursuit of wealth and prosperity!
• I can’t stay here. I have to run away!

• Ten months later, it was ten o’clock at night in a small town in the southern area when Mia, who was already ten months pregnant, suddenly felt her amniotic fluid break, more than a week earlier than her expected due date.
