Chapter 17 Mating Ceremony

• It was the night of the mating ceremony. It was a ritual for all the pack members to gather around the huge, secluded slab of rock, free of towering trees, where the moon was reflected in its full bloom.
• It was in this exact place that all the members of our pack had their first shift. Before we proceeded with the ritual, there was going to be a little speech from my father as Alpha, and we were all waiting expectantly for him. A few minutes later, he walked out of the pack house and right onto the podium.
