Chapter 301 The Guards
- At six o'clock in the evening, Hofcaster Airport.
- As the twilight cast a soft glow over half of the sky, the airport's special passage opened wide. Air Winona and the captain, clad in crisp uniforms, had been waiting eagerly with welcoming smiles. Outside, the police had set up a cordon, clearing the area of onlookers. A convoy of all-black Mercedes-Benz vehicles waited outside, manned by dozens of uniformed men and women exuding an air of exclusivity, scanning the surroundings vigilantly.
- Pedestrians passing by were stopped fifty meters away, only able to observe from a distance. Some disgruntled youths stood on the moral high ground, decrying the special treatment given to certain 'second-generation' individuals and the perceived waste of national resources. Despite their protests, envy and jealousy were evident on their faces, lamenting their lack of privilege.
