- I feel the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end again and I look around. We're outside the bar now. There are a few cars around us, and several people are looking at our altercation, but I know it isn't one of them, so I let my gaze wander to more hidden places.
- Alex holds my arm, but I don't push him away. I know that he understands what I'm doing and is also looking around.
