Since there were no elderlies in both Gu Longfan and Ye Yuan's families who could care for the child, they had hired the well-known Madam Yue. Gu Longfan eyed them speechlessly. Madam Yue pushed the child's cot over to Ye Yuan's bed. "Your child is here, Mrs. Gu."
Ye Yuan edged to the side of her bed as she gazed at her daughter lovingly. She reached her arm out to touch her daughter's soft hands before planting a kiss on them. "Hello, darling. You're finally here in this world. Mommy loves you," she uttered in a sweet tone.
Gu Longfan's entire body felt like jelly. His blood was boiling, yet he couldn't seem to exert any energy. He couldn't explain what it felt like, but all he could see then was his woman and his daughter.
