• That afternoon, after Rakia brought the noon news and went to the downstairs cafeteria, she was surprised to find Dashtan waiting for her there. The man gave Rakia a look that signaled her to come over and sit with him at the table. Rakia sighed and complied with the man’s request.
• “Why are you still here?” asked Rakia as she sat down in the chair opposite Dashtan.
• “I was waiting for you, let’s eat together.” Dashtan expressed his wish and then called the servers to order. Rakia ordered as well when the man ordered food.
