Chapter 1 Please Disappear From My Sight Forever
- The sound of the door opening was very abrupt in the quiet night.
- Jennifer ran over to open the door. She smiled and hugged the man who returned home in the middle of the night.
- “George, Happy Birthday.”
- George apathetically glanced at her and coldly said. “Let’s go. I’m sick.”
- Her opened arms remained empty all the time. The upturn corner of her mouth was frozen in place. Slowly the smile faded.
- George threw the key on the counter, pretending not to see Jennifer’s eyes that had dimmed in an instant.
- In any case, this woman was immune to poisons. She would be fine later.
- She would be like an annoying cat, coming close to him without being able to chase her away.
- Indeed.
- George took a few steps while taking off his jacket, and Jennifer had already caught up to him to take his jacket. “The cake has just been made. It’s not too sweet… Light a candle and make a wish.”
- There was hope in her eyes.
- Wearing a pink nightgown, she actually looked seventy percent gentle and thirty percent pitiful.
- George rubbed between his brows. His handsome face was filled with undisguised disgust.
- “Jennifer, do you really not know how disgusting it looks when you pretend to be gentle and virtuous?”
- Jennifer was slightly startled.
- George had already impatiently walked around her and stood at the other side of the table.
- He held a lighter in his hand and lit up all the candles.
- Jennifer’s eyebrows immediately returned to normal.
- George never allowed Jennifer to join his circle and the Arnoult family, so the people around him also very tacitly ignored her, the Mrs. Arnoult.
- Even if it was his birthday, she could only take up a little of his time in the early hours of the morning.
- The candle flame trembled slightly, enveloping George’s handsome and cold face. It lacked the warmth that had caused one’s heart to palpitate when they were young, and it had even more of the coldness and alienation of a grown man.
- Jennifer smiled and clasped her hands together, “George, make a wish.”
- Through the weak light of the candle, George looked at the woman who was always smiling and laughed coldly.
- “For the past five years, I have only had one wish: Jennifer Thomson, please disappear from my sight forever!”
- The color of Jennifer’s face instantly disappeared.
- She reached out her hand to stop the man from leaving.
- George’s voice suddenly became dark. “Let go.”
- Jennifer raised her eyes and looked at him, “Are you really that disgusted with me? You aren’t even willing to look at me?”
- “Do you still need me to answer this question?”
- George suddenly laughed. He looked handsome, but there was no warmth in his eyes.
- “Jennifer, the person I, George Arnoult, hate the most in my entire life is you!”
- “Was this clear enough? Is it clear enough to you to understand?”
- Jennifer had always known this. George had never spared any effort in injuring her.
- She clearly should be the closest yet she seemed like an unrelenting killer of his happiness.
- He wished that he could personally chop her into a thousand pieces.
- Jennifer’s eyes gradually lit up, she tenaciously grabbed onto the man without letting go. “Since that’s the case, then I won’t be polite.”
- She suddenly climbed onto the man’s shoulder pressing her soft waist again his chest.
- She kissed him on the lips, as if she had gone mad, until she tasted the blood on the other party’s lips.
- George gasped for breath chaotically from her entanglement, he pushed her away with a dark face.
- “Jennifer, are you really that cheap?”
- “You promised to marry me yourself!”
- Jennifer’s eyes were shining in the dark room, “You were the one who said that you would with me! You said it! Now what right do you have to call me despicable?”
- She never cried, but that did not mean that she was not wronged.
- On the contrary, the longer she suppressed her emotions, the more shocking they became.
- The man listened to all these words and his handsome face darkened as he said. “You’ve been pretending for so long, but still couldn’t resist revealing your true nature. If you knew this would happen, why did you continue pretending for so long?”
- “That’s right…”
- Jennifer smiled faintly. “I really wonder what I’ve been doing these past few years?”
- Her emotions were different from usual. With her ice-cold fingertip, she gently outlined the outline of George’s handsome face. Her actions were ambiguous, and her alluring voice spoke.
- “Men are just toys on the bed.”
- “Jennifer!”
- George’s face darkened as he grabbed her wrist. The force was so strong that it almost broke her hand.
- “You’re courting death!”
- “Heh, our Young Master isn’t willing to listen.”
- Jennifer looked at the man’s angry eyes, her heart felt like it was bleeding, but the smile on her face became even brighter.
- “You are only a toy that I exchanged 5 billion for. George, why don’t you love me?”
- Veins bulged on the handsome man’s face. He could strangle her to death at any moment.
- Jennifer tiptoed and kissed the man’s lips, then muttered hoarsely, “George, I want you.”
- George’s handsome face darkened, and he tore the nightgown she was wearing causing Jennifer’s small face instantly turned deathly pale.
- He pressed her down on the sofa, and they tangled. The cake on the coffee table tumbling to the floor and falling into a puddle of mud.
- George’s voice was like ice, “Toys don’t know how to weigh things. I hope Mrs. Arnoult will enjoy it.”
