- The Hoia Baciu forest doesn’t seem like much at first sight. It’s not unlike other forests I’ve seen dotted throughout the region. We stand in front of it, and because it’s the winter season, there aren’t any tourists here, so we are free to do as we please without worrying about anybody seeing.
