Chapter 3282 Feelings

Herman was smart enough to tell that Megan was feeling moody from the tone of her voice. He wanted to comfort her but there was also something that he wanted to verify.
“Yup, I called to tell you that I've boarded the plane. I thought you might worry, so I called to let you know,” Megan replied placidly albeit with a hint of indignation in her voice as she said “I thought”. She played with her hair distractedly while chatting with Jake on her bed.
Jake picked up the whiny tone in the woman's voice which piqued his interest. Cocking his brows, he chuckled softly and the gloom on his face disappeared as he replied, “Yup, I was indeed worried about you. Right after my meeting, I found out that you had taken Herman to the casino. You even gave him your own money and he lost it all?”
