Joan smiled as brightly as a blooming flower. Hearing a response like that from the man she loved made her feel like she was the luckiest woman on Earth.
She was about to reply to him when she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen. The pain was so intense and so sudden that Joan felt ambushed. She lost control and shouted in response.
“Ah!” shouted Joan before she gripped Larry's hand, “Larry, my stomach hurts. It hurts so much.” It only took a few seconds for a layer of sweat to form on her forehead. All that showed just how much pain she was in.
