Chapter 1
- Cielo sat in front of the vanity mirror, waiting for the makeup artist to arrive.
- The door was unexpectedly pushed open. Helene entered the room with haste.
- Cielo was dressed in a long grey padded jacket with unkempt hair, which she noticed. "Everyone in the Smith family has arrived," he says reproachfully. "How come you haven't changed your clothes yet?"
- Cielo, perplexed, placed his black-rimmed spectacles on the bridge of his nose, his eyes dropping. "Mother, is it truly your intention for me to marry my sister's fiance?" she inquired.
- Helene assumed she would back out. Her complexion darkened.
- The Smiths were waiting outside. A single blunder could destroy the entire family!
- She knelt in front of Cielo out of nervousness. " Your mother is pleading with you, Cielo. Your sister is deserving of better. Just assist her! I beg of you."
- Despite the fact that Helene was her birth mother, Cielo's initially dull eyes gradually grew chilly, indicating that she prefers my father's children from his first wife.
- As a result, my mother knew that my sister's fiancé was both unattractive and brutal. My mother was aware of this, and she desired that I marry my sister's fiance in exchange.
- ------------------------------------------------
- A servant's encouraging voice could be heard outside the door. "Madame, Miss Cielo. "The Smith has made his way upstairs."
- Instead of reaching out to help Helene, Cielo began indifferently. "Get up, and I'm leaving."
- It's different this time. Cielo Hill had completely surrendered.
- When Cielo opened the door, she noticed several attractive bodyguards standing outside. The Smith family had sent this person to pick her up.
- She is marrying today, so there will be no wedding or groom.
- "All right, then, let's go." Cielo took the initiative and went downstairs first.
- --------------------------------------------------
- The Smith family is the wealthiest in New York City. Tyler Smith, the sole direct successor, was traumatized and treated inhumanely when he was abducted more than ten years ago.
- Tyler Smith hasn't shown his face in public since.
- He was rumoured to be repulsive and nasty, and every lady who was transported to his residence died.
- Nothing is more painful than death, and Tyler Smith doesn't care if he's a demon or not.
- When the bodyguards arrived at Tyler Smith's villa, they led her inside the room before leaving.
- The door was not opened again until it was completely dark outside the window.
- Cielo Hill turned around to see a tall, straight man walk through the front door.
- With his backhand, he shut the door behind him and turned on the light in the room.
- When the light turned on, Cielo Hill reached out his palm to block it, then looked up at the guy.
- At first glance, she was taken aback.
- He is too attractive, not because he is ugly or nasty.
- His large and muscular body was dressed in a black suit, and his long legs made giant leaps and moved quickly to her.
- His face has deep and exquisite contours, like a finely crafted work of art. It's beautiful, if a little oppressive.
- Tyler Smith looked at Cielo for a few seconds, slightly frowning. "It's remarkably awful," he admitted.
- He couldn't pick up on any extraneous emotion in his calm tone.
- Cielo Hill regained consciousness; she didn't care that he called her ugly; all she wanted to know was, "Who are you?"
- "You don't know who you married?" he asked, his voice loud and his black eyes piercing.
- As he approached, Cielo shuddered, her cheeks flushed from the cold breath.
- The strong aura weighed on her, but she straightened up and said, "Of course, I know who I'm marrying is Tyler Smith!"
- Tyler Smith's eyes gradually converged as he heard the words, and then there was a flash of clarity. Cielo Hill appeared to be a believer in rumours.
- Even though she was married to a "ugly and brutal" man, her calm demeanour piqued the man's interest.
- By forming a grin with his lips, he was presumably attempting to be selective. "It turns out that I am your husband's cousin, Tyler Smith." My name is Troy Smith. "You don't want to be guarding a disabled person on their wedding night," he says.
- -------
- "Criminal" Tyler purposefully increased the intensity, and the ending was low, adding a touch of harness to emphasis.
- He purposefully approached her. The chill in the air grew stronger with each passing second.
- Cielo Hill shifted uncomfortably to one side and had complete faith in him after a brief period of uncertainty.
- After all, this is Tyler Smith's mansion. Ordinary people are not permitted to enter.
- "He's your cousin, so please don't say anything negative about him." Tyler Smith must be having a bad day if even his cousin noticed.
- Cielo Hill's heart was overflowing with compassion.
- Regardless of how powerful the Smith family is. Tyler's situation is admirable. I'm sure he's had a difficult life.
- Tyler's ebony eyes glowed with surprise. He didn't know what to make of such words from this hideous creature.
- He returned his gaze to her without thinking.
- Hair is a tangle. Her dirty bangs nearly conceal her eyes and a few spots on her dark yellow face, which is framed by black-rimmed glasses and a large cotton-padded coat. It's a dreadful sight to behold.
- Because of her appearance, it's difficult to believe that this lady is his alleged bride.
- The Smith family, on the other hand, didn't care whether the woman he married was beautiful or not. It will not be the same person as long as the family is only passed down through women. They will not be held accountable either.
- Tyler Smith's eyes shone with a blue light. As he extended his hand, he shoved Cielo Hill onto the bed with an unmistakable tone of scorn and hatred in his voice. "Because no one else is present, there is no need for you to act. I'll take it as a good sign as long as you're still a virgin when you grow up looking like this."
- He reached out and touched her with his hand after he finished speaking.
- It's incredibly soft and silky to the touch, almost to the point of addiction.
- "Snapped!"
- Cielo smacked him across the face with all her strength. "Remember, if you leave before my cousin arrives, I'll treat it as if nothing happened." pass."
- Despite her best efforts to remain calm, her shaking palms betrayed her.
- She had imagined Tyler Smith looking hideous on the way here, but she never expected to see such a beast.
- Tyler's face was sad, and his body was cold. "No lady has ever dared to do anything to me," he declared.
- Her spectacles had come off as a result of the battle, revealing a pair of startlingly clear and clear eyes, and the owner's quivering eyelashes revealed her uneasiness and dread.
- Tyler Smith walked around for a while, soft-hearted for some reason.
- He stood up, adjusted his shirt placket, and told her coldly, "You may continue to wait here for that garbage person."
- Boom!
- Cielo Hill's tense nerves didn't let up much until the door closed.
- -------------------------------------------------
- In front of the front door...
- When Tyler's bodyguard noticed the red mark on his face, he was taken aback for a moment before saying, "Master, your face..."
- "The door struck me," Tyler said flatly, touching his face.
- What door has the potential to leave five fingerprints on a person's face?
- Instead of asking any more questions, the bodyguard handed in a paper that said, "This is the young lady's personal information."
- Tyler noticed the name written on the paper when he opened it.
- It's difficult to believe she goes by the moniker "Suck up," yet she's still a very unattractive lady.
- Cielo's biological mother is intriguing. She lavishes gifts on her stepson and stepdaughter while being cruel to her daughter.
- He scowled again and asked the bodyguard, "Is she a fool?"
- The bodyguard gave his approval.
- "Check it again," Tyler said matter-of-factly.
- Cielo's speech demonstrated that she was well-prepared.
- Furthermore, he'd never seen a fool rise and smack someone hard in such a situation.
- "If you can't find the information I'm looking for, don't come to meet me!" he exclaimed, tossing the information in his palm into the arms of the bodyguard.
