• “Did Mr. Sanderson or Talon do that to you?” Celeste finally blurts out, grabbing Kane’s hand and tugging him with her to stand closer to Jesse. She knows there’s literally nothing she can do to help him through this. If there’s one thing she knows about Jesse, it’s that he loved Blaine, and she could totally see him putting himself in bad situations to try and find out what happened to him. She's not sure Jesse will ever get over losing Blaine. She thinks he’s probably taken it even harder than Kane.
• “Speak of the fucking devil,” she snaps her head up when she hears Kane’s annoyed tone and sees that his eyes are on Talon, who is approaching them. He’s walking quickly, his head tipped down like he doesn’t want to look at any of them. Kane goes rigid, and when she looks up at him, he’s sporting the most disgusted look he can manage.
