• “I wonder who that guy is...” Leila uttered when she saw the motorcycle speeding away from the compound. Since the guy was wearing a helmet, she didn’t see his face.
• “Hey, where did you go earlier? I was going to bring you with us, but I didn’t see you,” Johnny uttered as soon as he got into the car.
• “I didn’t leave... I was just inside, sleeping.” Leila responded while snorting. “You called and told me to come immediately, but you are nowhere to be found!” she added with annoyance. Leila started the engine and quickly sped up to the car. “By the way, how’s the alpha of the Emerald pack? Is he good to you?” she asked, remembering the overheard conversation from the woods.
