- The rusty hinges on the diner door whined open with a groan as I ushered Nora and Ashley inside. The neon sign flickers outside, casting a warm, almost honey-gold glow over the worn red booths and checkered floor. It wasn't much, but then again, extravagance wasn't exactly in the Nightshade pack's budget these days.
- "Alright, let’s get something to eat and then we can go talk to the Alpha," I said.
