• KATHERINE’S POV
• I don’t like this new girl Stefan brought to the castle. Everything was perfect between Kol and I before she showed up. I still find it hard to believe that she’s the Alpha’s mate. It’s just not possible. Besides, she’s from the south. Tradition and werewolf nature made it so that mates can only be from the same pack.
• This mate bond between her and Kol must be a mistake. It has to be and I’m sure of it. I have never been so sure of anything in my entire life because I am the one who killed Kol’s mate.
