Chapter 25 You Got The Job
- When Emilie stepped out of the elevator this morning, she didn’t expect her ad for a new assistant to get so many responses, but her hallway was littered with young women. They sat in the chair, eager to be in her office for the job. She looked around before tapping the assistant desk.
- “Good morning ladies, please have your resume and cover letter out and if you have any recommendations, put them in the middle of the pile. Help yourself to anything in the break room and I will let my temporary assistant call you in one by one. You have five minutes to make me want to give you the job.” She said.
- Emilie walked away to her office and pushed her chair out. She needed an assistant immediately. The flirting with her past assistant had gotten worse, and she didn’t seem to take no for an answer. The woman had gotten out of control. She never did anything. Emilie asked anything about Alicia she ordered everything wrong. And if it was one thing, Emilie, as she was a perfectionist and didn’t need anyone to screw up.
