Chapter 11
- I changed in my casual clothes after taking a quick shower. I had to approach the flight attendant on what breakfast I should prepare for our boss. Sir Sebastian isn't a picky eater. When he is not in the mood, he wouldn't dare to eat. Good thing he has no allergic reactions to any kind of food. But I was thinking if Sir Sebastian would eat this morning. I knew he hadn't slept yet and stayed up all night for workloads again. I sighed. He was a workaholic lad. I knocked on his door when I reached his suite. "Sir, are you still awake?" I heard no response. "Maybe he's already asleep..." I muttered. I was about to leave when the door opened. I froze on my ground as my eyes widened in surprise when I saw him, half-naked. Only the towel was covering his lower body. Droplets of water from his hair were slowly dripping from his hard, broad chest down to his... His... Oh my, Lord! He has six-pack abs! "What?" he asked nonchalantly. I gulped from the sight of seeing him half-naked. I knew that I had seen Marlou getting half-naked as well with six-pack abs... It doesn't affect me. Indeed. But right now, seeing Sir Sebastian, I couldn't help gulping and clearing my throat to snap my attention away from his half-naked body. This was my first time seeing him half-naked! "W-Would you like to grab some breakfast or a-are you going to retire?" I want to pinch myself for stammering like that. Just what the heck is wrong with you, Cejay? Fix yourself! "What do you think?" I frowned, glaring at him which earned him a small smile. "Fine. I'll have your coffee on your table," I said, hitting my nostrils from wanting to huff. "I'll have some fresh orange juice." That made me look at him in disbelief. Fresh orange juice? What? "Fresh orange juice? Not coffee?" I parroted. "Yeah. Now scoot." Blinking and not believing what he said, I was left dumbfounded by his words. "Wow..." I muttered as I mindlessly went back to the kitchen. That was the first time he ever wanted a fresh orange juice in the morning! What a twist! I was also planning to have some fresh orange juice because that was always my plan whenever I am on a plane. Although I love coffee I'd rather not take anyone cup because that won't make me rest once I retire in my suite. I had already tried before and I was completely out of my mind at that time that I almost snapped at my boss because I had no sleep. I was wild awake at that time and never got a chance to take a nap nor a peaceful sleep. I carefully placed the glasses on the table while waiting for Sir Sebastian. I made a bet on my mind that he would wear pajamas this morning. I ate my inner cheeks, not wanting to spout a laugh as Sir Sebastian arrived wearing a blue sleepsuit. It looked like it was just a weekend and would sleep later. I admit, he looked so freaking more handsome right now. A major turn-on. Not that I am fantasizing about him but Sir Sebastian has a body to die for. With those six-pack abs, I would love to knead those and bake them. I castigated myself for thinking some irrational things. Since when did I start having thought of that? He gave me a side glance before he took his seat. "What are you waiting for, Ms. Cejay? DDo you want me to pull a chair for you?" And here we go again with his attitude. I stretched out a smile. "Pardon me, sir," I said politely and mentally rolled my eyes. We ate in silence. For a moment, I was stealing a glance at him. He was quietly munching on his meal while I was anticipating him to have an objection to my cooking. "What?" My heart leaped when Sir Sebastian spoke up. I was forced to raise my head after munching my bacon. "Um... what?" I gulped when his menacing stare was piercing right through me. "You keep on looking at me. Have something to say? Or I will assume you have a crush on me?" My eyes widened as I looked at him in disbelief. My jaw even dropped. I just couldn't believe what I just heard from him. Just what the heck! "Hold on! Hold on!" I settled my utensils on my plate and made an exaggerated movement by stopping him from being so delusional. "Don't fire me this but you are assuming too much, Sir Sebastian." I rolled my eyes, absolutely showing him that what he said was completely false. "Oh?" His lips curled up into a grin. "Am I?" "Yes! Like totally! Duh!" I rolled my eyes again then twitched my lips into the corners of my lips. I gasped, looking at him in shock at the way I spoke with him. I just realized I went out of the line again. Perhaps Sir Sebastian noticed it, he released a fine chuckle. "I'm not offended," he said as he answered the question in my head. That made me feel relieved. But I so wanted to fan myself right now because suddenly, it felt so hot right now. I felt like my face was already flushing from embarrassment. This was not the first time I made an impulsive comment against Sir Sebastian. There were times I am afraid he would be going to fire me any time for speaking like that. No one even dared to talk to him like that. I was the first one who dared to go on with the limits. I gazed at him and checked that he was in a good mood. Maybe this is my chance to sneak my mission. "In any case, would you still consider my itinerary, sir?" I was smiling with the hope that he would completely agree with it. I watched him gulping the orange juice and casually threw me a glance before he continued eating again. My smile was hanging from anticipation as he indeed ignored my question. I am closed on barking at him. I finished my breakfast without receiving a word from Sir Sebastian. I'm so close to clicking my tongue so loud to let him know that he is making me so pissed right now but I refused to do that because I love my job. Plus, if I lose my job, I would have to force myself to go back to my father. That is the last resort that I wanted to do. I have pride and I am not backing down to beg with him. I inhaled and exhaled before I snatched a glance with him. I handed my plate and stood up in disappointment after I received no response from him. On my peripheral vision, he glanced at me and even I turned my back, I felt his eyes piercing. Another silent rejection from Mr. Huntington. This is crazy...
