Chapter 8 Allison

  • - Allison's POV
  • After lunch, I went back to the company and decided to go to the back of the metalwork, I like to see the machines working and after saying hello to a few people I went up to the mezzanine to observe everything, I stayed there for about 10 minutes and when I got down, I was about to leave the place when some human being with no sense of direction almost ran over me.
  • "Fuck!" I said angrily because the being had stepped on my foot.
  • "Fuck, I say! Watch where you're going!" I hear the thick, angry voice thunder.
  • "Small is the fuck..." I say and at that moment I look at the tractor that almost ran over me.
  • His eyes are honey-colored and he's very tall, he must be over 1.90 tall, I think he's about 30 and he's all in black, I take a good look at the hot guy who seems to be very strong and muscular, his perfume enters my nostrils and right away I get goosebumps.
  • "Insolent! I'll talk to your supervisor, I don't have to put up with this shit." He says arrogantly, and that's a good one.
  • "I'm the one who doesn't have to put up with this shit! Who are you? What are you doing in here?" I say, questioning the man.
  • I've never seen him around the company and if I'd seen him somewhere I'd remember, after all, he's a hottie and you can't forget someone like that so easily.
  • "Who are you, I ask you!" he says even more arrogantly.
  • "You know what, just stand there talking to yourself, I don't have time for this shit," I say and walk past him, stomping out of the place.
  • "Crazy! I'm going to talk to your supervisor! Insolent!" He speaks loudly, almost shouting, and I just leave the place.
  • Everyone in the company and at the metalwork knows me, I've never had any problems with anyone and now this crazy guy who doesn't even know my name comes along and insults me, the worst thing is that I'm not well and my patience has turned to dust because of everything I've been going through.
  • I was about to go into the office when my cell phone rang, and still nervous at the thought of the arrogant hottie, I answered the phone angrily.
  • "Speak up!" I said without even looking to see who it was.
  • "Speak what? Have you lost your manners, Mrs. Allison? Is that any way to talk to me? I swear I'm about to kick your ass, young lady!" My mother said nervously.
  • "Sorry Mom, I didn't even see who it was, I just bumped into an uneducated idiot and I'm a little stressed, forgive me." I'm very stressed.
  • "Don't you dare talk to me like that again! I wiped your ass, Allison, and I won't allow you to disrespect me! I may be old, but I'm still your mother, and by law, I can give you a spanking." Crap, now I'm going to have to listen until next year because of that asshole who made me nervous.
  • "I'm sorry, Mom, as I said I didn't mean it, but how are you? I spoke to Dad earlier today." I say, trying to divert the subject.
  • "I'm almost in despair! Your father called me pissed off, did you think we wouldn't know that now you've gone around attacking people?" Now I'm an outcast.
  • "Mom, I don't know what they said to you or Dad, but it's all a lie," I say exasperated.
  • "Are you using drugs, Allison? I swear, if that's the case, I'll send your race, girl!" Mercy! Look at my mother.
  • "Mom, for God's sake!" I say shocked.
  • "For God's sake, I say! You go away for a few days and when you come back you want to split up, you isolate yourself in a hotel room and you're aggressive, hitting people. What happened on that trip Allison? Did they put toxic substances in your drink and you became addicted? If that's the case, I'm going to take you to church today and call a priest who does exorcisms, you're not smoking that demon weed, are you?" Seriously, the only reason I don't laugh is that I love my life and don't want to be beaten with a shoe.
  • "Mom, I..." I don't even have time to speak because she cuts me off.
  • "It's drugs! I knew it, my God!" She says dramatically and the next thing I know I'm screaming.
  • "I'VE NEVER DONE DRUGS, MOM, FOR GOD'S SAKE! I'M JUST GETTING DIVORCED, HOW HARD IS IT FOR YOU AND DAD TO UNDERSTAND THAT?" I scream and only then do I realize that I shouldn't have screamed.
  • Not only that, but I've just entered the building and everyone is staring at me in silence.
  • "Are you shouting at me, Mrs. Allison? Is that right?" Somebody help me, I don't deserve to go through this.
  • "Of course, I didn't shout, Mom, I'm in the elevator and it echoed... I think." Let her swallow that or I'm fucked.
  • "It's contempt after contempt, I'm going to call your father right now..." She says and hangs up on me.
  • I close my eyes and I swear that at that moment I feel like disappearing, I don't know what to do, I look around and everyone's looking at me with an air of disapproval, I bet they're going to tell my dad that I shouted at the reception desk.
  • "And that's it, Allison, it's only getting worse for you," I think, and without knowing what to do, I approach the elevators and press the buttons, trying not to pay attention to the people who are staring at me, I stand there and I don't know what's happening, but the elevators take a long time to go down and people decide to go about their lives and stop judging me with their stares.
  • "Allison?" I hear a familiar voice call me and I turn around slowly.
  • "Hello, how are you?" I ask, seeing Mr. Anton.
  • "I'm fine, I've come for a meeting with your father." He says and I shake his hand.
  • "Let's go up together, I've just come back from the metalwork, I was taking a look at the production line," I say with a friendly smile.
  • "I see, Oliver spent the morning there..." He says and I look at him without understanding, who is Oliver?
  • "Sorry, Oliver is my son, he's on his way here and should be through the doors any minute." Mr. Anton says and I nod, then we look at the door.
  • Just as we look, I see the arrogant jerk who bumped into me at the metal shop walk past the reception desk, the man is walking towards us and it's got to be a joke.
  • "Allison this is my son, Oliver Grey, son this is Allison Clark, Lorenzo's daughter." Mr. Anton introduces us and, out of politeness, I raise my hand to greet the jerk who looks at me seriously.
  • "How are you?" He says and takes my hand, squeezing it.
  • "Well, how are you?" I say, shaking his hand and squeezing it back, only his hand is two in front of mine.
  • "Great, it's nice to meet you!" He says without letting go of my hand.
  • "Imagine, the pleasure is all mine!" I say, digging my nails into his hand and narrowing my eyes slightly.
  • Just then the elevator arrives and the idiot lets go of my hand, he may be stronger than me, but my nails still win.
  • "Are you going in?" Mr. Anton says, catching our attention from inside the elevator.
  • I didn't realize it, but I think we stared at each other for a while.
  • "Yes... let's go in." I say, and so Oliver and I enter the elevator with Mr. Anton, my hand is aching and the smell of the arrogant man's perfume soon fills everything, and yes, his perfume is delicious.
  • I'm standing there thinking of something to say when I feel something graze the top of my head.
  • "She's quite short, isn't she, Dad? Even with heels, she hits my chest." I turned around immediately in disbelief, I couldn't believe the asshole was measuring me.
  • "I'm not short, you're too tall," I say with a wry smile, staring at the unfortunate man. I want to tell him to fuck off, if we were alone I would, but out of respect for Mr. Anton, I hold back.
  • I'm 1.62 tall, and in my opinion, I'm not short at all.
  • "Of course, you're short, you're almost a pygmy." The bastard says debauchery.
  • "Oliver!" Mr. Anton says in a warning tone, but he's holding back his laughter.
