• Clarion wondered why Leah would visit so early without pre-informing her. But Leah wasn't looking good at all. It appeared she hadn't had a good night's rest, considering the dark lines below her eyes.
• Clarion came closer and asked "what a pleasant surprise, Leah" she declared, smiling. Leah can come to see her and Tarvan anytime, she's like a daughter to them.
• "Good morning Aunt Clarion. I haven't come to see you but Pamela. Would you please have one of the servants call her" Leah declared, not smiling nor standing up in courtesy.
