Chapter 70

• I couldn’t sleep all night and didn’t even touch the food which I always complained was too little. My stomach wouldn’t have been able to take it if I had tried.
• I was nervous and scared. Something didn’t sit right with the way Samantha stalked out so calmly after learning that I was pregnant. She was too calm and it could only mean she was planning something deadly.
• I sat on the broken bed, staring out of the windows. The freedom of the birds that were flying freely in the sky had me so envious. It’s been so long since I saw other people. I was stuck here and I had lost count of how many days or even weeks that I’ve been here.
