Chapter 7 Psycho!
- Aurora's POV
- I stepped back when he stepped forward. Adrenaline rushed inside me and I grabbed the butter knife while placing the paper bag on the table.
- "Leave. Now!"
- I pointed the knife at him.
- He was in his place amused while I was scared to the core not understanding what he wanted.
- Did I save some serial killer that night, that thought terrified me.
- He chuckled and stepped forward making me alert, my hold on the knife tightened as forehead started sweating. I was glaring at him but nothing seemed to phase him.
- I had also forgotten my mobile in the bedroom.
- "Butter knife! Last time I told you that you need something stronger."
- He chuckled mockingly.
- "I doubt this one is going to help you"
- "What do you want?"
- I asked not to take my eyes off of him.
- "You!... All of you, every inch and piece of you, your body, your smile, your tears, your pain..."
- He stated in determination.
- "Your soul and everything!"
- I looked at him in disbelief not getting what he meant by that but his words were terrifying.
- "Are you crazy? What are you even saying?"
- I tried to be brave but I was shaken from inside.
- "Leave! Now!"
- He sighed dramatically.
- "I was trying to be gentle but if you don't want it then let's do it the hard way..."
- I scowled at him. What gentle way did he try? He just barged inside my house.
- Either he was mocking me or he didn't know what gentle actually means.
- He stepped towards me and I was about to run away but he grabbed my arms and threw me on the dining table. I almost lost my balance but managed. My elbows bruised while taking hold of something.
- I looked at him and he grabbed my elbow. His jaw clenched when he saw a bruise.
- "This is the first time so I am letting it slide but if I saw a cut or bruise on your skin again then it would be really bad for you, Angel..."
- He gritted.
- "I don't like when my things get damaged"
- Things? That made my blood boil in anger.
- "I am not a fucking thing!"
- I growled at him while jerking my hand back.
- "I'll give you one more chance to make it easy"
- I frowned when he rested his hands on the edges and locked me between his arms.
- "Let's do this a gentle way, listen to me and you will be fine..."
- I wanted to scratch that smirk off his face.
- "Fuck off!"
- I tried to push him back but it felt impossible. I raised a butter knife to hurt him but it couldn't even scratch his suit let alone hurting his skin. I felt so embarrassed.
- "I told you it's not going to help..."
- He looked at the knife like it was some cute thing and tossed it on the floor .
- "Do you want to try something shaper?"
- I frowned when he asked that.
- He pulled out a knife from his pocket and snapped it open. It was sharp, and pointed like it was made only to cut humans. And my eyes widened when I realised that it has a gold coating.
- "Take it and try again"
- I flinched back but he forced me to hold the knife.
- My hands trembled when I held that knife. It was heavy. I was wondering why he had that knife with him. The fear of him being a serial killer came to the surface. I looked at him in horror.
- He chuckled amused and took off his jacket. My hold tightened on the knife when he rolled his sleeves up like he knew I was going to put up a good fight and he was preparing for that.
- "Use it!"
- He ordered while folding his sleeves, his ringed fingers worked effortlessly.
- "Now that you have chosen the hard way then let's follow that... I am your man so I have to respect your decisions."
- "When the fuck that happened?"
- I spat.
- "I am not your woman, you psycho..."
- "The moment I laid my eyes on you, you became mine... And see how good our connection is..."
- He chuckled.
- "I am a psycho, you felt it right..."
- I gulped when he again placed his hands on both my sides. His veins popped out as he rested his hands beside me.
- "But I don't like when someone calls me that, I usually kill people when they call me a psycho... But you are my Angel, I can't kill you, Let's think about a different way to humble you down... You need to learn that you can't go away with disrespect..."
- His each and every word made me shiver, my mask of braveness broke down when he said that he kills people. I had no idea who he was but it was confirmed that he killed people.
- I couldn't think straight what to do, my phone was in the bedroom so I couldn't even call the police.
- I closed my eyes while he was looking at me like an eagle. Then something clicked, he was too close to me. My knees were close to his stomach and he had a stitched wound there.
- I raised my leg and hit on the same wound which I treated that night. He grunted in pain and I pushed him back when he was distracted.
- I took the chance and dashed towards the other door which opens at the other side of the house. I looked back to see if he was following me but my stomach churned when I saw him looking at me with crossed arms.
- It terrified me, wondering why he wasn't following me. Why was he so calm like he had it under control. No he didn't, right? He didn't have it under control! My heart screamed at me.
- I would have felt less terrified if he would be acting normal and chasing me but he didn't which scared me even more.
- There was a smirk on his lips like he knew what he was going to do.
- I opened the door and ran out, The wind blew my face in the cold night. In a normal situation, I would have felt calm and soothing but that night wasn't like that.
- I looked at the swimming pool which is filled with rainwater and I forgot to empty it.
- I don't know how to swim, I have a phobia of deep water. And since my parents died, I kept that pool empty.
- I got out of the house but couldn't understand what to do. Where to go. I don't have a car, I don't have a phone or money to go anywhere or call anyone. Not like I have anyone.
- I decided to run errands, wherever my luck takes me but it was too late to act because he came out.
- "Doesn't have anywhere to go, Angel?"
- His voice was close to my ear and my heart almost stopped beating.
- I looked back and found him standing just behind me and I didn't even realise.
- I gasped and took multiple steps back.
- "What do you want? Why are you doing this?..."
- I almost cried.
- "I saved your life, I don't deserve this... You are hurting me"
- His wound was bleeding again but he looked unaffected by it. Like it's not hurting him at all.
- He sighed and fixed his rolled up sleeves, his veins popped out with each movement. He looked and was strong.
- "I haven't even started yet..."
- He shrugged.
- "I told you what I wanted, and you refused to give me what is mine..."
- At that time I realised that the man is so self centred that he doesn't understand will or consent. He doesn't care about anyone or anything.
- He wanted what he saw and liked, that night he came to claim me and no one could stop him. Not even me.
- "Because I don't want you... You are a killer..."
- I yelled at him.
- He stepped forward and I stepped back again just to realise that I was standing on the edge of the pool.
- I gasped while looking back and then looked at him.
- "After tonight, you will be a good girl if you are smart enough..."
- He grabbed my hair in a tight grip and I clutched on his hand while screaming in pain.
- "Leave me!"
- I cried. His grip was deadly.
- I struggled when he pulled me closer and pecked my lips.
- "You are mine!"
- I couldn't even get to react before he jerked me into the pool.
- I fell into the water with the terrified gasp.
