• Liam's head threatened to explode as he dashed out of the room. He felt like he was running into a storm instead of away from it because his body, mind, and even his wolf ached to return to Nicole.
• "Liam?" James asked, jumping out of his way as he almost crashed into him.
• Liam growled something unintelligible in response and continued non-stop until he was at the outskirts of his pack and close to the forest. Without wasting time, he threw off his clothes and shifted into his wolf form.
