Chapter 13

• Adira’s POV
• My husband stayed at the hospital for one week.
• During those days I was alone in the house, I ate well, slept well, and pooped well.
• He has that loving Isa on his side, so he doesn’t really need my help.
• Today, my husband came back home with a cast around his right arm. It seems he will have trouble moving that.
• “Welcome home, honey,” I welcomed him who’s standing at the door with pale face while looking at me.
• ‘Do I look like a ghost?’
• I am wearing my usual sleepwear and I am freaking gorgeous from head to toe. If I were a ghost, then I will be the prettiest ghost. Yeah. I am this confident in my looks.
• Chadwick kept wordless while staring at me. Suddenly, his minion, I mean… his jolly secretary stood beside him and smiled at me.
• “Good day madam!” Neil greeted. I caught his eyes traced my provocative dress, and how he tried to keep his eyes to my face.
• ‘That’s right. A normal man will react like this in front of me. And so, I concluded that my husband is an alien. A real alien.’
• “What are you doing? Wearing that?” Chadwick finally spoke.
• What’s wrong with my clothes? I am inside the house. Besides, I did not expect that he’d come home with his secretary early in the morning.
• “Neil will keep his eyes on my face,” I answered, then stared at his blushing secretary. “Right, Neil?”
• “Y-Yeah? Ahhh! Yes! Yes madam!” Neil shouted like a soldier does during his military training. “I will keep my eyes on your face!” he added.
• How cute.
• I chuckled at Neil’s response. At my laughs, his face became even redder.
• Well, my very face is enough to seduce a healthy man. So, I doubt he’ll be okay staying here with me for a long time.
• I saw my husband alternating his gaze between me and his secretary. He looks so mad, but I doubt that he’s jealous. Maybe he just feels quite irritated.
• “Neil. You’re busy right?” Chadwick said to his secretary.
• “Not really,” Neil answered.
• At my husband’s sharp gaze, the not so busy man became busy.
• “Ah right! I have so many things to do! I remembered it just now!” Neil said, clapping his hands. He carried my husband’s luggage inside and looked at me.
• ‘Oh my~ There’s something on Neil’s gaze that made me curious.’
• His eyes are shining and twinkling like stars. Working in a field where you need to read people’s face, I could see whether someone holds something malignity behind his gaze.
• “As you can see, madam,” he started. “My boss is still injured. He can’t use his right arm yet. So, please take care of him.”
• My eyes went to the man behind who cannot meet my gaze. Maybe he feels too embarrassed to ask me himself.
• ‘If he needs more help, he should have stayed in hospital for…’
• Wait a minute.
• I stared back at Neil’s twinkling eyes.
• Ahhh. I get it. I know what’s lying in those sly eyes.
• Neil is playing the cupid who wanted to get me along with his boss.
• My mission is to seduce my husband to have a s*x with me. Chadwick is injured right now, but that doesn’t mean it is impossible, right?
• Thinking how good the opportunity was, a grin slipped from my lips.
• “Of course,” I said in seductive tone. “I will take care of my husband… really well.”
• When I looked at Chadwick, I could see him getting nervous just like a rat in front of a snake.

• Chadwick kept on insisting that he could stay alone in the house without anyone’s help. But as soon as Neil left, he’s having a hard time just pouring the cereal in his bowl. Using his not dominant hand, the left, the box shook within his grip and grains of cereal were poured clumsily inside and outside the bowl.
• “Damn it,” Chadwick cursed while looking at the mess.
• He swept the cereals to the side with his left. Next, he got the milk box and tried to open it. However, no matter how strong his left hand is, he still needs the help of the other side to do the task.
• Adira saw the struggle of her husband. Thus, she approached the poor injured man and offered help.
• “Let me prepare it for you, honey,” Adira said.
• Chadwick could not refute as Adira snatched the box from his hand. He looked at her wife’s side profile, striking gorgeously even if she’s not wearing makeup.
• Her red hair was tied up, revealing her white skin and that sharp collarbones. She’s wearing her glossy, thin and pink sleepwear, that has a deep collar.
• As Adira opened the milk box and poured it into his bowl, Chadwick stared at her cleavage. He’s taller than her so he can see the depth of her bust from the upview. He, then, felt shy and embarrassed for her.
• Awkwardly, Chadwick turned his head to the other side, not knowing how red his ears and nape are.
• “Can’t you wear proper clothes?” he murmured.
• Adira placed the box back on the table and tilted her head to her husband. When she saw him getting flustered over her seductive dress, a green sign lit inside her mind.
• ‘This is a good sign,’ Adira thought.
• Before, no matter how Adira dressed provocatively, Chadwick did not even bat an eye. But now, he’s all red while begging her to wear a proper dress. Isn’t this the sign that he is starting to get aware of her presence as woman?
• Whether it is or not, Adira will grab the opportunity.
• “This isn’t the first time I walked in front of you with this kind of dress,” Adira said, getting a glass from the side.
• Chadwick looked back at her and watched her pour milk into her own glass.
• “But you are telling me to change right now? Why? Do you see me as a woman?”
• Feeling as if his blood rushed backward inside his veins, Chadwick quickly denied with a shout. “No! I don’t!”
• Adira grinned at her husband’s defensive response. If he acts like this, she’ll get more suspicious.
• “Really?” Adira said in a teasing tone.
• She raised her cup of milk and drank it slowly. As if her mind was possessed by the devil again, Adira purposely spilled milk while she was drinking.
• The white thick liquid gushed from her chin, dropping on her neck, resting a while on her collarbone, then going inside the center of her breast.
• Chadwick watched it roll down.
• Heuk.
• He gulped, feeling the heat growing inside his body.
• Chadwick wanted to eat cereal because he’s hungry. But now he feels hungrier in a way different from before. It isn’t his stomach that he needs to fill. It is his…
• ‘My what? What do I want?’ Chadwick asked himself.
• Feeling disgusted by his own thoughts, he tried to erase these ideas from his head. If he needs to crack his skull open to remove his brain, he will definitely do it!
• “Forget it! I don’t want to eat anymore!” Chadwick protested.
• Like a stubborn kid, he jolted out of the kitchen and left Adira alone.
• “Pfft…!”
• Adira burst a crackle of laugh.
• She was so entertained at the way Chadwick reacted to her tease. And she wanted to see more of this today.
• Actually, Adira planned to get to work before her husband came back from the hospital. But Neil told her to stay and take care of his boss. Chadwick said he does not need Adira’s help, but seeing how he struggled just by pouring the cereal, Adira had to forget about attending her job.
• ‘Besides, I am having fun,’ she said to herself with a smirk while dialing her secretary’s number.
• “Hello, Hansel.”
• [“Hello ma’am, good morning. I am on my way to pick you up ma’am.”]
• “You don’t need to do that. I’ll be staying home today.”
• [“Yes?”]
• “My husband is injured so I need to take care of him.”
• [“I-Is that so. I understand ma’am.”]
• “Please prepare the documents that I need to review tomorrow. Okay?”
• [“Noted, ma’am.”]
• When Adira hung up the call, Hansel stared at the screen of her phone while she drives.
• This is rare. For Adira to absent in work, this is once in a blue moon situation. Even when she’s badly sick before, the CEO of Crimson Meadow still comes in work.
• “But now, she’ll skip work just to take care of her husband?” Hansel murmured in disbelief.
• As far as she can remember, her boss’ relationship with her husband is not good.
• Hansel clutched the steering wheel so tight. “That good for nothing husband,” she said, gritting her teeth. “He does not deserve my boss’ affection!” she complained.
• Hansel really thinks that Chadwick is taking Adira’s kindness for granted, which he does not deserve. However, she does not know that during this moment, it is Adira who bullies her husband instead.
• With nothing to do inside the house, Chadwick went to the living room. He sat in front of the wide flat screen Tv and looked for the remote control.
• “Where is the…?”
• “You need something?” Adira asked, sitting on Chadwick’s right side.
• Chadwick stared at his wife.
• He asked her before to change her clothes and here she was, wearing a T-shirt and pajamas. For a moment, he was perplexed.
• Adira is a stubborn lady, like an iron that cannot bend. But she changed her clothes just because Chadwick asked her too?
• It’s impossible. For her to be so obedient, there must be something she prepared under her sleeve.
• Couldn’t wash away the suspicion, Chadwick narrowed his eyes towards his wife. He stared at her, as if saying: ‘What do you want right now?’
• As if Adira could read his mind, she cutely blinked her eyes to make her look innocent. That was, of course, became futile because no matter how she tried to appear pure, her fox-like beauty will hinder.
• “You want to watch, right?” Adira asked. She got the remote from the side and turned on the television. “What do you want to watch? I’ll change the channel for you.”
• Screen plays.
• With squinted eyes, Chadwick answered, “Any movie.”
• “Alright,” Adira agreed. She pressed the channel button and searched for the movie.
• Chadwick tended to the wide screen, watching how the images change from time to time as Adira pressed the button. After long seconds of searching, Adira chose the romantic movie which she had watched before.
• “Oh. This movie is good,” she said.
• Chadwick fixed his seating posture and tried to focus on the screen. At the movie, the main leads are confronting their feelings for each other.
• [“I love you”] said the male lead.
• [“I love you too, Michael”] answered the female lead.
• After confirming their feelings, the protagonists in the movie went out for a kiss. The kiss is demanding and fiery. It’s natural to see this scene in any movie. However, the kiss is getting more intense as the time passes by, and that puts Chadwick in an uncomfortable situation.
• [“Ahhhhh, ahhhh, Michael.”]
• [“Yes. Ahhhh, Jane.”]
• The male protagonist lifted Jane up and started kissing her neck. He took her inside the room, still kissing her sensitive spot which made Jane moan in ecstasy.
• [“Ahhhh, no~ Michael.”]
• Chadwick’s ears felt hot. He expected the kissing scene but not to this extent. At some point, he thinks that if he continues to watch, he’ll probably see them f*cking.
• “Hey. Change it,” Chadwick asked Adira.
• “Why? We’re getting at the exciting part,” Adira said.
• At the exact moment, the male protagonist took off Jane’s upper garment, as well as his, after he climbed onto her top.
• Chadwick took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He cannot watch this anymore!
• “Adira. Just f*cking change it,” he whispered desperately.
• “You closed your eyes? Oh no. You did not see Michael licks Jane’s legs. That was so sexy,” Adira teased.
• “ADIRA!” Chadwick shouted angrily. Veins on his neck protruded, as well as those snake-like veins in his hands.
• Even with his eyes closed, he could hear the moans from the movie, as well as Adira’s faint husky chuckles.

• ‘I am getting what?!’ Joshua, who could not accept the accusation, gasped inwardly.

• Chadwick bravely opened his eyes and looked at Adira.

• Chadwick gulped before his eyes went to her face.
• Her long eyelashes fluttered every time she slowly blinked her almond eyes. Her lips, red and swollen, are slightly hung loose, inviting him to explore how it feels to taste every corner of her mouth.
• She’s so beautiful, that no men could resist the temptation to hold her, to claim her and mark her theirs.
• Thus, will Chadwick take the bait and give in to the temptation?
• “You are really… insane,” he said.
• Chadwick snatched the remote from Adira, using his left hand, and closed the television.
• Next, he stood up and walked away from her.
• “Where are you going?” Adira asked while chuckling.
• Chadwick did not answer and just went inside his room. He closed the door with a loud bang and made sure he locked it so that no Adira could enter.
• As soon as he stepped in, Chadwick lay down on his bed with a grunt.
• “That sly fox!” he complained, covering his eyes with his left arm.
• He found a piece of tranquility away from his evil wife, but that did not last long.
• “Chadwick!” Adira shouted outside the door.
• When Chadwick put down his arm, his sharp eyes appeared and shot straight at the door. “What?!”
• “Are you sure you don’t need my help?”
• “I don’t! I really don’t need your help so leave me alone!”
• “Alright. You and your pride, really. Well, I hope you won’t come and beg me to help you in the future.”
• “I won’t! NEVER!”
