- I walked back into Dr. Jansen's office, my nerves still raw from our last encounter. My eyes immediately landed on another familiar face sitting across from her: Dr. Nadia, my oncologist. Confusion twisted in my gut. "Dr. Nadia, what's going on? Why are you here?"
- "Please have a seat," Dr. Jansen said, her voice calm but carrying a note of burden. "Everything will be explained soon."
