• With every passing second, the weight of the picture weighed down on me more and more. The paper's borders were slightly wrinkled from age, but the features of Adrian, Nathaniel, and the lady who resembled me so much appeared to be frozen in time as I gazed at it in shock. I couldn't decide whether to confront Adrian or destroy it. In any case, I wasn't sure how much more I could handle, and something inside of me was breaking down.
