Chapter 6
- 6. I hate you, Valen
- Two years later...
- 14th August 2019.
- The crowd jostled on school premises near the notice board. The results of the previous exams were up. Some were happy, some sad while some people literally had no sign of anxiety on their faces after knowing that they failed. Some wailed in happiness for passing with distinction. Some screamed in excitement, realizing that they were offered scholarships for the next year whereas some students whimpered as they had to repeat the same grade again due to poor performance.
- The toppers were being congratulated by their classmates while the others who passed with E grade were distributing chocolates being grateful. There was a hustle bustle all around. The teachers sat in the staff room listening to the noise spreading in the college corridors, they half- smiled half-joked experiencing the chaos occurring around.
- They were also sad because the holidays for the summers were reduced and it was now only for three weeks— this is because the alpha wanted to introduce a new syllabus to the students. A new method of teaching, where the growing wolves who are the future generation of the kind will get to learn new ways of fighting along with some added knowledge that was not imparted to them earlier.
- In short, one can say that addition was going to be made to the old education in a manner so that the next generation was prepared to face any predicament they met in their path.
- Back to the chaotic students, they never stopped speaking as they hugged and greeted their friends.
- Clarke came on his bike. It was strictly prohibited to enter the school campus with bikes as they were only limited to parking areas. But who would tell them— the Wild Wolves Bullying Gang! He continuously honked making everyone grit their teeth alas nobody had any courage to stand up against him.
- "Hey, slut, Move away!" He humiliated a girl who was blocking his way. She quietly moved away. But Clarke gave her a flying kiss with a wink, making her pull disgusted faces.
- He came to the center where all the students surrounded him. Clarke hopped upon his bike and clapped his hands twice to attract everyone's attention. "Okay everyone here, listen to me." He was standing up on his bike so that he could address everyone without any difficulty.
- Every freaking voice faded right at the moment he spoke, his hands raised high in the air and waved so that he had each and everyone's eyes on him. Especially of the ones who were standing at a distance. "So you guys know what day it is today, don't you! Come on, we know it's our future alpha's happiest birthday so everyone is invited to his birthday party tonight at our favorite club. And before that we shall cut a big cake in the canteen, don't hesitate to join us." He smiled with a clap while the others let out a zealous hoot.
- Well, one reason to celebrate was the satisfying results for the academic year, and the second one was that it was the school's bad boy's birthday. Yeah...
- Birthday...
- Ryley— the Alpha's son's birthday. Although he was annoying, he was that pain in the ass which was chronic in nature but still, one thing everyone liked about him was the frequent parties he threw at the luxurious hotels, giving an open invitation to anyone and everyone who wished to come.
- The crowd continued to huddle around and gossip about the party as Clark left. It was back to normal, even the canteen was crowded despite the fact that the bullies were sitting there. But they didn't mind the others in the canteen today as it was a special occasion today.
- They were happy, "So someone's going to have a wild night tonight!" Wendy exclaimed, looking at Hazel and Ryley.
- Hazel was sitting in his lap, his hands were wrapped around her waist and stomach uhh— half inside of her top caressing the side of her breast. "I don't think so!" They all stared at Ryley, he bit Hazel's earlobe continuing further. "We are going to have the wildest night tonight." Emphasizing more on the last few words.
- Dgujv
- Listening to his words, all the gang members chuckled looking in different directions as the love birds had already started kissing each other madly. Once they finished, "Now you all can face us. " Ryley shamelessly said, making his gang wink and stick their tongues out.
- The time was going great. This was life. They were relishing their moments together when, "Happy birthday, Ryley." A girl came and wished him a happy birthday, causing everyone to shift uncomfortably in their chairs.
- All were taken by surprise when Ryley beamed thankfully, "Thanks for the wish, Sally." He even shook hands with her and then let her go unharmed.
- This made others follow suit and come to wish him one after another. It was amazing, and like a dream come true, when they got to touch him. It was easy to admire him from afar yet everyone wondered what it would be like to see him closely.
- "Happy birthday, Ryley."
- "Happy birthday."
- "Wish you many many happy returns of the day!"
- One by one, the students came, shook hands with him gently whilst presenting him with their lovely birthday wishes, and left.
- He did not mind shaking hands with them until, "Happy birthday, Ryley." His heart stopped beating at a normal rate, eyes turned red like fire, lips curled up together as soon as that certain voice hit his ears.
- "Valen," Ryley gritted his teeth, looking at her who was standing there with a stretched out hand, waiting for him to accept it and shake it warmly as he did with others. His lips pursed together in wrath because her smile was an unbearable sight for him. It was annoying.
- Dressed in black jeans with a peach coloured off-shoulder full sleeves top, matching with the same color sneakers, she looked perfect as the long high pony went well with her appearance. The normal-sized bag hung on her left shoulder with a few books in hand. She looked breathtakingly beautiful with her blue— almost violet eyes hopefully gazing at him.
- "Come on, stretch out your hand, what are you waiting for?" She smiled, impatiently watching his changing facial expressions.
- "Fine, don't shake hands with me. I know you dislike me so let us just leave it. But I've got a small present for you." She avoided his perilous glares and went to search in her backpack.
- But before she got a hold of his present, she was pushed back so violently that her back hit the edge of a table behind her." Aah!" A yelp spilled from her mouth.
- Intense current of ache rushed down her spine as Ryley gripped her neck and hovered over her like a beast. His one hand rested on the table beside her waist, the other one restrained down on her neck, pulling her face closer to his own.
- "How many times do I have to tell you, whore," He hissed. "That I fucking hate you and don't like to see your fucking face!" He grumbled near her mouth, turning her crimson in resentment and stupor.
