• "Jeez..." Breathing a heave, Zander descended the stairs of the school building and rushed across the garden.
• He stopped at the closed gate and maniacally began looking here and there. His eyes were wide open, hands fisted and face flushed with shock and disappointment as he frantically roamed his pupils in the empty big garden.
