Chapter 31 The Full Moon (iii)
- Derek continued to run into a lonely bushy track road with no intention of reducing the speed of his race when suddenly, a huffing wind rose up. A tinkling sound came to his ears as the rain drops reduced its pressure, now drizzling gently on the grasses and leaves, while the wind blew heavily non-stop. The sound that came from it was like the glassy clinking of a champagne flute, lilting and clear. The night sky was so clear that a person could almost see every crater.
- The moon, a glowing yellowy white, loomed large finally showed up in the sky, shining down on Derek and was surrounded by an ethereal glow. And millions of stars were sprinkled behind it.
- The moment the moonbeam had its way to Derek's skin, he lifted his head and looked at the moon as a loud, painful groan left his mouth. His shirt began to tear into pieces. Black skin and hairs began to grow on every part of his body.
