• Alex's POV.
• I anxiously approached Sarah's house, clutching a map in my hand; encouraged by Sarah's threat yesterday, I made some research overnight. The sun was setting, casting an amber glow over the surrounding woods. I rang the doorbell, and Sarah opened the door with a warm smile, which surprised me as I was expecting to see the opposite.
• “Hey, Alex! I've been waiting for you,” Sarah greeted, her eyes sparkling with excitement. “Ready for our adventure?” A grin played on her lips.
