• Alex's POV.
• The time went slowly after the message, and I was so eager to see Beth. She is the key to all I need at the moment. My gaze got locked on the wall clock, and I was more than glad to see that it was 6:30pm. The cybercafé is only a few minutes away from my place, so I got dressed and exited the house.
• My heart raced with each step I took closer to the café, while my eyes searched for anyone who might have sent me the text. I was about to grab the knob to the Café when the ding sound of my phone got my attention; it was another text.
