• “Did you perhaps see the face of this person who tried to kill the Alpha?” The police asked again, and I shook my head. I couldn't even figure out if It was me or Ryder the person aimed to kill.
• “He sped off the moment the Alpha fell.” I managed to croak out as Valkyrie rubbed my back soothingly. She suddenly called after we arrived at the hospital. The guards had rushed out the moment I screamed. The entire Blackthorns came out the minute they heard that the Alpha had been knocked down by a car.
