• He continued from one page to another until he finally witnesses the drawings she drew and the sad notes she wrote down along with it after he left the island. Her drawings where filled with sadness that Harry felt through each page and the notes she wrote which always had 'I miss you Harry' in it.
• Every single note which contained Merry's yearning and heartache was a dagger to Harry's heart and the more he reads them, the deeper the daggers cut through his heart. He felt how alone she was, how sad she was, how confused she was, how broken she was and how she waited for him to return.
