- The elevator dinged open and Maren walked out, followed by a man who held a blueprint. Her hair was now coming out as brown from the black it used to be, making her look more authoritative as every step she took was one of pride.
- They both walked straight to her office and when they had settled, poured a quarter of the glass and downed it in seconds, wincing at its strong taste.
- “So right here, ma’am, the window will be on the east. And the main furniture of the room will be on this part,” the man said, gesturing to places on the print with his finger, not minding the fact that Maren was exhausted and didn't want to hear anymore.
