Chapter 14

• A slight creak from the front door and she was on her feet. She slipped into her fluffy flip flops and trudged out of her room.
• She poked her head out in the hallway, but it was as silent and empty as the rest of the building. She proceeded further out the door as to the front door.
• “What the fuck?” She muttered quietly. It was locked. She turned and looked around the living room, and there was no sign of anyone. She could swear it was the door creak she had heard, and she was sure she had locked the door.
