Chapter 63 Gael is Miserable
- Melinda found the man revolting. She hated how domineering he was! He's the one who dumped me here, and he's the one who came back to pick me up. Has he… fallen for me? No, no. There's no way! I bet he just wants me to treat his mother's burns, right? Neither one of them spoke during the ride, so they had no idea what was going on in each other's minds.
- Eventually, Melinda decided to put on a song. "Today was a Fairytale, you were the prince, I used to be a damsel in distress. You took me by the hand and you picked me up at six, today was a fairytale…" the song played. Stanley didn't like listening to music, but he didn't stop her from playing the song. She was certainly the first person who had the guts to mess around with the stereo system in his car. Stanley wasn't sure when it had started, but he could tell that his feelings for the woman had begun to change.
- The Lamborghini came to a halt in front of Emerald Harbor. Melinda turned to glance at the man, who showed no signs of taking off his seatbelt and getting out of the car. She understood his message, so she got out of the car herself and slammed the door shut behind her. Then, she strode off toward the main hall of the house. Stanley's gaze darkened as he watched Melinda.
