Chapter 171 The Big News

• The following three days went by in a blur, mostly because Nylah and I spent our time lazing around the house without even bothering to head to the company for work. That said, we managed to get some spring cleaning done in the villa. I polished all the floors until they sparkled like new, and since Nylah had a thing for magnolias, we drove down to the flower market to buy a variety of seeds and gardening tools.
• When the weather turned cool in the evening, I cleared out a space on our front lawn to turn it into a flower bed of sorts. Having raked through the earth to soften it up, I sprinkled the seeds we bought and buried them into the soil.
• The days I spent doing this were the most idyllic I ever had. While I worked on the garden, Nylah would perch on the swing in our front yard, wearing shorts. She would look over at me and smile. Besides that, she occasionally had a book in hand which she read in earnest.
