Chapter 183 Smokescreen

Sometimes, you just can't afford to let your guard down and underestimate any of your enemies. Faye, for example, had managed to set up a smokescreen before I could even figure out what she was up to.
She had intentionally brought up the bracelet during dinner last night, which only aggravated Nylah's anger toward me. Earlier this morning, she seized the chance to bring Nylah out while the latter was still upset with me and giving me the cold shoulder.
