• I didn't wait for him to complete speaking or to clarify. I also knew he wouldn't tell me anything about the woman. Maybe he'd tell me something else if I asked. I'll just leave it at that.
• I took a quick walk with my other belongings. Perhaps I'll simply go back tomorrow to get the other stuff that I couldn't take. I'll go if he wasn't in his office anymore. Or maybe I'll just ask someone to send my stuff.
