- “What took you see long?” I asked as I walked past her. Freda stood there, her face flushed with anger, her eyes blazing with fury. The intensity of her gaze was enough to pierce through a metal. I could feel the weight of her disappointment and betrayal hanging heavily in the air. It was as if the room had suddenly become smaller, suffocating me with its charged atmosphere.
- “You've got some nerve, Hardin, how dare you do this to me,” Freda said as she walked towards me angrily. My mind raced, desperately trying to make sense of the situation. I never intended to hurt Freda, but that doesn't mean she gets to speak to me like this.
