• “Call me back as soon as you confirm it,” I said to one of my men on the other side of the phone. I had put him in charge of confirming the delivery that was sent in my absence. Because I didn't want to leave Freda all by herself in the hospital.
• I noticed her body language when I was leaving to make a call and that was enough reason for me to suspect that she was up to something. I decided to handle the business quickly so I could head back to her room and check up on her.
