Chapter 40 Book 2: Six Pt-2

On getting to the pub, Lillian packed her car and got down, she was wearing a black pants with a black long-sleeved turtleneck top, she clutched onto her key as she walked on the sidewalk, all the way wondering what Shane would be doing there. When she entered, a lot of men looked at her and some smiled and waved at her. She smiled stiffly at them to hide her fear while searching for Shane with her eyes.
She finally saw him sitting at the bar and heaved a sigh of relief, she made her way towards him while trying as much as possible not to touch anybody or get into trouble, she has never been in a pub all her life. She stood behind him and sighed, he was already drunk but he was still asking for more shots. The bartender seemed to know who he was and didn’t want to give him more drink and at the same time, don’t want to know annoy him.
Lillian felt bad for the man and smiled softly at him, “I will take care of him.”
