Chapter 6 Asked Him to Pay His Debt
- He turned slightly, his long arm extending, effortlessly lifting Arya in his grip, resembling a small bird.
- With his large hand poised to strike, he hesitated momentarily, then slowly withdrew it.
- He remained stern with the mask, exuding an icy demeanour that nearly erased any trace of humanity.
- "You rascal, it's really you!"
- Arya angrily yanked off her blue cap and confronted him, "Do you know how much you've ruined me? Do you have any idea how hard these years have been for me?"
- "Are you ... really the same person from four years ago?" Titus's gaze tightened behind his mask, their depth showing a blend of intricate emotions.
- He didn't expect that this woman was indeed the same person from four years ago!
- It's understandable why she looked familiar.
- He revisited the Moon House four years ago to search for her again, yet all the people there insisted they hadn't encountered her.
- In the brothel, if a girl was found dead, she was usually carried out and casually buried.
- He had believed she had passed away.
- Nevertheless, here she stood in front of him, alive and pointing at him while scolding him.
- Titus was stirred by conflicting emotions.
- Gradually, he released his hold on her.
- "Four years ago, weren't you waiting to serve clients in that brothel? Weren't all men the same to you?"
- "How could you say that?" Arya snapped angrily, "I was set up by villains, and you took advantage of that situation. Moreover, you were so overbearing that I barely managed to flee the next day!
- "You know what's really outrageous? You haven't paid me a single coin! Even if I was selling myself, shouldn't you pay me for sleeping with me?"
- When she woke up that day, her whole body ached, and it was even harder for her to walk.
- If she hadn't had strong willpower and had forced herself to climb over the wall, she might not have been able to escape from the Moon House.
- She would have become a prostitute and been trapped there!
- Hearing Arya's words, Titus couldn't shake off his sense of regret.
- That night, he didn't intend for things to go that way. But the taste of this woman was so irresistible that he couldn't control himself.
- Even after the drug's effects faded, his longing persisted.
- Now, Arya was furious, her face flushed with anger.
- Her upper body quivered.
- Titus looked at her. Wow, it's bigger than four years ago.
- As he continued to stare in silence, Arya became even more enraged!
- Such a lecherous man!
- Arya stepped backwards, defensively crossing her arms in front of her chest.
- "You took my virginity and made it impossible for me to marry anyone else. By marrying another man, I can make a good living. But you stripped me of that opportunity. Do you feel no remorse? Don't you think you owe me anything?"
- Arya finished speaking in one breath, with a sad expression and tears streaming down her face. Titus was stunned. He let go of her wrist and said in a rough, hoarse voice, "Then ... what do you want?"
- "At least pay me the money for that night first," Arya pouted, her brows furrowed in grievance. "Do you want to owe me this kind of money?"
- "But I don't carry money with me," Titus replied icily. "I will have it sent to you tomorrow."
- "Tomorrow?" Arya scolded, "Do you know that I need money urgently tonight? I was forced to give up three silver coins. I'm really having the worst luck today!"
- "Who forced you?" Titus's eyes chilled.
- "Those two awful stablemen," Arya disclosed. "Never mind, you wouldn't understand even if I explained. Just give me the money."
- "I really don't have any!"
- "Seriously?" Arya blurted out, clutching Titus' collar. "You're penniless? Look at you, so strong and dressed in that robe with gold and silver embroidery. It must be worth a good hundred or eighty coins, right? How many years do you want to repudiate a debt? I have never seen anyone as shameless as you!"
- The eyes of the 'Hades' turned cold, and murderous intent suddenly appeared under the mask.
- "What? Do you want to kill me?"
- Arya sneered disdainfully. "Fine. Kill me. Once I'm dead, no one will know about your immoral debt. Just go ahead and kill me to avoid embarrassment."
