• After settling the bill, Eleanor departed the hospital with Mike.
• The doctor would contact them once he had everything ready for the surgery, which would take around one week. Since staying in the hospital for the next few days would be rather expensive, he suggested she bring Mike home to rest. That would put him in a more relaxed and happier mood to undergo the procedure.
• On their way back, she stopped by a bookstore to buy Mike a few secondhand books.
