Chapter 33 Back in Boulder City

It wasn’t flowers and hearts in the Kingston mansion that very night. They were all silent as they arrived at their family house in Boulder city, Nevada. Anna wouldn’t even look in the direction of her husband. He offered her his hand to help her get down from the car but she ignored him and jumped down on her own, she then took Xavier’s hand and they both walked in together to the building.
Mr. Kingston sighed as he watched them go in, he felt bad for everything that had happened tonight but he had no regrets. It was high time the truth was revealed. He had made a mistake in the past, one that he also didn’t regret because Xavier has turned out to be a blessing to him and his family.
It was at his moment of weakness and he did what he felt was right to be done. The other woman had two children and according to the nurse, they were a middle class family. He had made himself feel better by believing that he was relieving them of having to train two children in their condition, even though that the truth was different from that.
