• "Mom, what happened?" asked Max confused. He and his entire family had finished breakfast and the table had been set.
• Gary herded everyone into the side garden, gathering around a garden table in front of the pool. Maid serves coffee and various small cakes in the middle of the table.
• Leah took Max's hand and Ken sat on either side of her. She clapped Max's hand. "You never said anything about your private life Max, always closed off and tight. I'm your mother, at least you could tell me anything," Leah said with a frown.
