• The wedding was elegant and not too long. Cindy looked beautiful and I could see she was truly happy. Marcus was beaming and he couldn’t take his eyes off Cindy. I wished things were like that with me and Rylee, but life happens, and the shit gets beaten out of you around every corner.
• “Congratulations, you two crazy kids,” I said as Marcus and Cindy made their way over to us.
• “I’m pretty sure I’m older than you, Lucas,” Marcus said as we laughed.
