Chapter 2
- "That was one of the most boring classes of my life" Stella says expressing her feelings as we walk out of the science class and into the hall
- I'm about to respond when a voice cuts me off
- "Obviously you've never paid attention during your meditation sessions" Easton says showing up again weirdly.
- Usually he leaves us alone and barely acknowledges us in school, so I don't know why this year he's deciding to hang around us.
- "Don't you have football tryouts or something?" Stella asks trying to shoo her brother away
- "That's after school you imbecile" he say rolling his eyes
- "Hey, there's no need to be throwing insults at people" I say to him as he suddenly turns his attention to me
- "didn't you call me an asshole last week?" He questions smirking
- "Yeah, because you ruined my favorite shirt" I say trying to justify my point
- "it became my favorite shirt too when it got wet," he claimed stepping closer to whisper into my ear opposite of Stella
- "Because I could see the wonderful lace bra underneath the shirt and let's not forget how hard your-" he says in a seductive low voice but doesn't get to finish before Stella is pulling me more into her side as she glares at her twin
- "Stop seducing my best friend you man whore" Stella says glaring at her brother, but he paid no attention
- He just stared me deep in my eyes with a load of emotions that I couldn't figure out, then I thought back to what he was saying before Stella interrupted him and started to blush furiously causing him to smile and turn towards his sister
- "As you wish dear sister of mine" he says tauntingly then walking down the hall to his next
- class
- Oh shoot class. I forgot all about it.
- "Oh god we're gonna be late for math" I freaked out as I started running to the math room hoping we weren't already late
- "I mean is that really a bad thing?" Stella asks chasing after me causing me to roll my eyes at her question, that's Stella for you.. carefree.

- "Finally, it's lunchtime" I say as I walk into the crowded cafeteria and towards the long lunch line
- "I know right. I've been waiting for lunchtime ever since breakfast" Stella says making me laugh.
- As soon as we get our food we walk towards a random empty table only to be stopped by a group of cheerleaders
- "You guys are Amelia and Stella, right?" a girl with a long brown ponytail asks us
- "Yeah, is there something wrong?" I ask them confused
- "Do you guys want to sit with us since you're on the tryout list?" She asks politely
- I look at Stella for confirmation, so she looks at me and smiles
- "Yeah, we'd love to" I say as we make our way to sit at the end of the table which, lucky for us, already has two seats that aren't filled
- As soon as we're seated a blonde cheerleader speaks up automatically silencing all the cheer chat
- "Hi my name Emma and I'm head cheerleader" she says a little overly excited, then she calls out the names of all the cheerleaders while pointing to them
- Stella and I politely greeted all of them as they had greeted us.
- A couple minutes later of just talking about new cheer costumes and gossip about who likes who lunch ends and we make our way to our electives, I had P.E. while Stella had home ec.
- I feel bad for the teacher because Stella can't cook anything to save her life, but it was a required subject so she had no choice
- "I'm gonna miss you" Stella says as she embraces me in a hug
- "Stells it's only an hour" I say laughing at her and rubbing her back
- "I know Ames but, I don't know anyone here besides you and my brother" she says
- "And the cheer squad" I point out causing her to chuckle
- "I'll see you in an hour?" She asks as she let's go to look me in the eye
- "I wouldn't miss it" I say smiling at her childlike antics.
