Chapter 69
- It has been a busy couple of weeks since we returned from our family cruise. The little fling I had on board was abit out of character as I am not one to typically have a one-time encounter.
- In fact over the last couple of weeks I had been catching up with some of my playmates who had been needing my attention. I had started the first week back from vacation with Alejandra and the other girls of the La Jolla house. The following week had been a very wet day alone with Taylor, and yesterday I had been to LA to see Justine and then Melissa. Even with the recent tragic loss of some of my playmates, I felt that sometimes I was spreading myself too thin and not giving them enough attention. For the most part they all seemed very understanding, but I still worried about them feeling alienated.
- I had just dropped off my older kids at school and was swinging by the French bakery to grab a few pastries. I pulled in to an empty parking space in front and made my way in. The door jingled upon entry. A few locals sat enjoying conversation and coffee. I made my way to the counter to make my order.
